I guess it's probably the feeling that you have somehow robbed the unborn of their future life, but in reality what you have done is the most humane option. Better now than shooting the doe a few weeks down the line when the young are dependent. i agree totally - far better to shoot now and get kits inside, i get a pang of guilt if i shoot a milky doe with nothing inside. aaron airgunner Posted February 19, 2010 Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 i have seen a few kits on my shoot and i cant ring myself to shoot them. i'm a shoot-for-the-pot hunter but if im asked by the farmer to shoot kits i will. there just so stupid. you can walk up to thehm and wave your arms around and they wont spook. my mates lab once caught one, there so easy to catch.
