Gallser
Folks, Seeing as how I am just starting out and budget is tight (I.E Mrs Gallser wont give me any extra pocket money after stumping out on rifle and shotgun) I needed to find a cheap / decent lamping kit. Found a Optronics nightblaster varmint gun light max-4 GL-50M4 on ebay.com (American site) and got it all in and delivered for £52.00. Promises a 350m range b ut the Yanks are prone to exaggeration. If anyone has experience of them, would appreciate hearing a review. For those looking for a cheap starter kit, it might be worth a look. John_R
Be aware that if it came with a charger it'll probably be designed only to run on 110 volt mains. If that is the case you will have to find a 240 volt charger, unless you happen to have a 240-110 transformer as well.
bennyblanco
Looks like a 6v version of the deben mini so I would be dubious of a 350m beam. Why not get a get a tracer max? and buy your own battery from screwfix etc.? If you own a car battery charger it will cost about the same and have a more powerful beam and battery

Gallser
So did the kit come with battery and charger? Yes, it comes with a battery and charger and I've managed to get a transformer as per your recommendations . Cheers Gallser
