I might get an opportunity to pick up a reasonably good example of the above. All I know is that it was the original Benelli auto design and they stopped making them about 1985ish.

As it says. Anyone have any working experience of this model?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Andy

SOme good info here http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15977 but i am sure i read somewhere (there was one on guntrader for a cheap price in london recently) that it doesn't use the benelli recoil system but gas ports like other semis ( i may be misinformed) here it says its recoil http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=422209

Thanks HDAV; this model (introduced in 1967) uses the inertia release locking system, not gas or long recoil. The modern inertia guns by Benelli, Breda and others use a slightly different system.

Tks
