THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
When your bored if you don't shoot much. if you shoot a lot about every 1,000 rounds to keep on top of it. Spot of copper grease on the end cap thread keeps things moveing smoothly.

activeviii
in to the dish washer after a few hundreds rounds on the hmr but a little more often on the 22rf as i find it a dirtier round than the hmr Phil
Frenchieboy
Much depends on what rifle it is fitted to. The 17HMR is a much dirtier round than the .22LR so when the moderator is fitted to the HMR I clean mine around every 250 rounds (ish) but when fitted to a .22LR I don't bother cleaning the mod unless the accuracy goes away from me! You could ask 10 different rimfire owners the same question about cleaning mods and you would quite likely get 10 different answers back mate!
