poorwullie
Buy a paper. Give you something to do while it gets there. lol. My experience was with a Kawasaki Mule but much the same. Really slow.
Crouch valley
Hi there on the shoot i keeper we have had both. They are both slow realy they have a top speed of about 20-28 mph but at the end of the day they save a lot of hard work and carrying about you can never go flat out when feeding up any way as you would spill stuff every where. I personally prefer the kawasaki muel as it has a bit more ground clearance and just drives a bit better. Its a great tool to lamp from. badshot
It depends what gator it is. I have a gator XUV and it is like an overgrown quad really the suspension is as good as a quad. It is used for farm duties and can slug pellet across the fileds quick enough. Up to 50 kmh if it is not a road legal version. Runs on red too so costs next to ****** all to put fuel in compared to a quad.
Kudu
We've got one on the farm here. Not a bad machine, the latest model has better clearance under the diff which should be better. I normally have to change the front wheel bearings every 18 months or so as the seals are rubbish. The yanmar engines are pretty much bomb proof. There's not much engine breaking, you have to keep blipping the accelerator. Not much good for lamping though as the diesel engine vibrates too much, I prefer to use the Honda forman 500 for all my lamping. verminator69
I run a HPX on my shoot and it does everything i need it to do and its a lot cheaper to run than a landrover :o Each to their own but i didn't like the mule or the kubota but have a John Deere dealer on door step. All these RTV are very similar in price, if you look after it it will look after you. I use mine for lamping, feeding, carrying water, game cart, pulling a set of harrows, and spraying
