Driving home from work tonight sitting in traffic thinking "i'll go to a high seat tonight" ....then a knock at the window......

"hey mate - did you know your cars peeing diesel all over the road"....

Sure enough - big trail of diesel leading to a big puddle under my car.... :o

Have spent most of the night stripping my disco to bits to get the tank to fuel pressure reg pipe off as it has rubbed through (common problem apparently) :good:

so now smell like diesel, taste diesel, have half the road grit in scotland in my hair..... and have bodged a repair (fuel pipe over the hole with red hermatite and a pair of jubilee clips either side.)

Does anyone know the part number for the fuel pipe that has the colour coded green tab on it and goes from the second in from the left connection (as you look in the boot) on the fuel pump to a connection on the inside of the drivers side chassis rail?

It's a 52 plate TD5 facelift model disco

if anyone has a part number i would appreciate it...

Yours thoroughly hacked off...(and smelling like a refinery)

That is a common prob, had it with my 02 disco and now my 04, my drive also smells like a petrol station.

Took mine into the local garage, cost a few hundred quid to replace (complete rip off, its the time it takes to strip down I suppose) hence why I'm putting it off again :good:

You may be able to find the part here?: http://www.landroverspares.co.uk/
