 Seems the fair weather has brought a few pigeon club members out of there comfy armchair's. Been trying to keep pigeons off rape all winter on a few farms (some good days more bad days) but keeping the farmer happy which is important, Like most other people on here looking forward to the flocks breaking up & of course the spring drilling's!! been watching a field of peas that went in just over a week ago daily visits letting the numbers grow & confirm flight lines etc, Only to be dashed by people with more money than time (to speak to farmers and gain permissions) and yet when there's some sunshine & easier shooting there's been different blokes there from a localish club all week. Wouldn't be as bad if they put the time in and worked out where the flight lines were so there really onto the pigeons rather than just shooting carts like its going out of fashion making them more gun (bang) shy.

Rant over pick it apart at will, Before you say it though i know its not my god given right to shoot those fields and no one else can but when you put the work in all winter just ****'s you off!

that would **** me off to m8 all winter in the freezing cold and then some warm weather **** comes along flashes money and your out. but its not just them its the farmer as well he should have a little thought for you as you've done all the hard work but then a gain may be you shoudnt have left them to build up for so long and shot it earlyer if that was possible

It's a real bumer that has hapened to me twice one spot I had shot for more than twenty years helped the farmer with all sorts then he sold the rights to a syndicate he didn't even tell me turned up as usual only be told very abruptly to **** off

and don't come back

Advice is not any point giving it stick only gets you a bad name,

Good luck finding new shooting
