Colster
I'd look second hand at AirArms, BSA, Weihrauch if you're thinking spring powered. What are you planning to use it for, the odd bit of plinking and vermin?
bullet boy
If your after a Spring Rifle then I'd say go for a Weihrauch HW80 or HW77 or HW97.
night owl
I would recommend staying away from the bsa tactical think you can get better for your money

farmboy99
weihrauch are excellent but can be a bit pricey whats your budget? maybe bsa supersport would surfice they can be brought relativly cheap and are great guns for the money. there was a webley vulcun up for sale on either here or airgunforum came with a free webley victor i think and it was only £100 theyre supposed to be good guns might be worth a look in? BSA_Shaun
I would recommend staying away from the bsa tactical think you can get better for your money ive got a BSA XL Tactical and it kills carriens at about 30yards its good for a starter becaues its only £
aaron airgunner
go for a HW springer, these are by far the best quarry for the pirce. bsa lightnings are overrated there are far better springers for the same or less price. there expensive, but air arms springers are top end. accuracy and recoil is no problem with air arms tx200's always winning the springers section in most HFTs i've been to. springers worth thinking about: hw77, hw90, hw80, hw95, hw97, bsa supersport, air arms prosport, air arms tx200. but you will need to up your budget to around £225 for a good quality S/H springer. jim410
i would go for the bsa supersport, and for your budget you will get a good one with a scope but if you can save a few extra quid then go for the air arms tx200hc. but then that is a bias opinion as i have both! jim.
