THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
A long time ago I decided to use a film can to carry pellts. That was ok for magazine fed rifles. Now I'm useing a single shot I wanted something better. Due to collecting fluff, twigs, gritty bits & all sorts of undesirables in my pockets something easy to use was wanted as the pockets were out of bounds for loose pellets, pockets also get used for carrying other items. I've tried several different pouches & quite a few home remedy types as well. So far this is the winner. Not perfect perhaps but at least I can get a pellet out one handed without drama. The Jack Pyke pellet pouch, any one use them or know of something better ? My needs are simple, useing a single shot I want to be able to get a pellet single handed without being distracted as I scan the area after a shot while reloading, the same as you would do cycling a multi shot. http://www.youtube.com/user/gunvidder?feat...u/1/Ufn9I_by-Dg I first got a Crossman pouch from my local shop, found the Jack Pyke one on line, got it 'cos it was camo & found it to be better. bi9johnny
the best ones i have are made of leather and are the shape of a slightly flattened ball..the leather is solid and i put a small slice of sponge in..... i have a big problem of people who come shooting with me and have things rattling in their pockets and jingling ****.... the jack pyke one has nothing holding the pellets in while your climbing fences and gates and stuff and all that velcro whilst in a quiet wood that noise will sound like hell... only in my opinion i may add
aaron airgunner
that jack pyke one would be perfect if instead of velcro i had a silent magnet which you could open with one hand. i also had the problem of pellet colleting grit and fluff in my pockets. whatn i do now is get a strip of blu tak and put it on the action of my gun. i then put my pellets, head first, into the blutak and it holds them tere quit nicely. this also means faster reloading as you dont have to take your eye off the scope to see what your doing
