Guest pigeonbasher
i sussed out what the problem was with my semi auto, the piston in the pic was siezed solid, soaked it in wd40 for an hour released it , a bit of a rub with fine wet&dry bingo, took it out foxing last night, & fired three shots of, seems ok
dunganick
i think if this is a piston like the one on a 302 (cant recall what gun it was you were selling) then beretta actually say in the manual not to clean the part as the fouling acts as a sealant and helps cycling. how come it got siezed, was it left for a long time? part still looks good as new
Guest pigeonbasher
the problem arose through negligence on my part, ie putting it away in the cabinet while still damp
