adam1
http://www.hdfairs.co.uk/yorkshire_about_the_show.html After all I popped into Selby gamefair yesterday as I woke up early and thought i'd just have a couple of hours there and get a kip in the afternoon before my 12 hour night shift, sadly I was not expecting much but really dissapointingley it was worse than I expected . I would love to report it was on the up as it would be great to have a good do so close to home but it do'nt look like thats going to happen anytime soon. So on to the question whats the above affair like in the grand scheme of things as i'm going to be having a ride out there this year and would like to think i'm going to see a gun or two on the stalls as you never know what your cabinet craves . TomV
went to yorkshire game fair last year and was disappointed - small in size and didn't even have a gunmakers row. Better off spending a bit more money and going to cla and midland game fair
adam1
cheers Tom, thats not what I wanted to hear but hey ho I might still give it a go as it drops on my days off but I'm working when CLA is on
racingfrank7
I have been to all the gamefairs in yorkshire, and the yorkshire gamefair is one of the best. It might be smaller than the cla but whats going to be bigger than that ! ! There was plenty of guns there last year and clay shoot was quite good to. Im looking forward to it. Selby is naff, but its 1st of season round here and its a bit of a day out at least.

There certainly wasn't a gunmakers row as at other fairs, there was one or two stalls that had a few guns for sale. Nothing wrong with the clay shoot. In my opinion its more worthwhile going to one of the bigger fairs like midland game fair
racingfrank7
Best your going to get in a local yorkshire gamefair and still worth a day out unless you want to drive for hours ect ect to said bigger fairs. I guess some of it is what you make of it ! ! !
