steve0146
After just reading another thread on diy rebluing, I thought i would share my pics from a couple of months ago. The gun was bought this year from another member of this forum and needed a bit of work. The stock has been sanded down and oiled and the barrels have been stripped right back and reblued. I was so impressed by how easy the process was. Not bad for a gun costing around £100.

steve0146
A small bottle of rebluing from my local gunshop. I rubbed down the barrels with fine steel wool. Applied the reblue and let it dry. Then polished it with extra fine steel wool. And repeated the process about 6 or 7 times. Wool was fine grade 00000 from B and Q. Oil on stock is deep mahogony danish oil, also from B and Q. Birchwood Casey Super Blue, comes in a small blue bottle.
