Return to clay shooting

Recommended Posts

Due to an accident and lack of funds I had to sell most of my clay shooting gear over two years ago, I was going to try a semi-auto to ease the felt recoil but now I find that I can shoot a over and under without any discomfort, I'm looking to spend up to £1,000 on a new gun, but the quandry is which to go for, without going to look at any up to date and only reading the magazines I've been quite taken by the New Winchesters, Bettinsoli's and the Lincoln's, does anyone use the guns and recommend them, I prefer guns with 30" barrels, multichoke and a single selective trigger.

Oh, and I'm a left hander

Cheers

Unfortunatly we dont have many left handers here or you could have a bash with the members guns....

we do have 1 that i can think of and he shoots a Miroku, Another guy is right handed but left master eye so shoots left handed, he has a 686/687 he never uses so could have a pop with that too...

The new Winchester Top cote is a superb bit of kit for a £1000 new and can be bought in 30 inch.

I`v been trying one out for customers and was very impressed. :good:

The Bettinsoli and the Lincoln are far cheaper and the Bettinsoli dose not have a good reputation due to double discharges and inertia failure from barrel one to barrel two. :hmm:

The Lincoln is the more reliable though. :P
