bk
I've just bought a Tikka M595 in .243 and tried fitting what I thought were the right bases to it. Both bases are the same size but one fits and the other is taper much smaller. Anyone any idea what Optilocks I have, other than the wrong ones Dan
Dekers
As a side issue Sportsmatch do mounts for the Tikkas, I have Optilock on one of mine and Sportsmatch on the other, £25 v £100. I got the Optilock for my first Tikka and was not impressed, Sportsmatch for the second...no contest, both are fine so I see no reason the buy Optilock which I think suffer from a major design flaw anyway. bk
What I like about the optilocks is the inner rings protect the scope.
Dekers
What I like about the optilocks is the inner rings protect the scope. Choice is yours of course, but... Have you ever had any other mounts damage a scope?? I certainly haven't! ATB!!
bk
Wow, if you manage to damage a scope with Optilock's you really have tried hard. How did you manage it? Im really interested to know. Never mangaed with OL's. Thats why I like them. Ive managed to get scope marks using normal mounts
