sixhills 69
Hi: I hope someone maybe able to help i have just bought a second hand Lanber O/U 12g i checked it over and it seemed ok on getting it home i have found that the selecter switch on the saftey when switched to both barrels is very intermittent some times it fires on both barrels and some itmes only one when you move the saftey the second shot fires. I have not tried live fire yet moving the switch does work could it be dirt and oil and if so how do i get in to clean the insides out so to say any advice would be greatfull Thanks
Rizzini
The gun relies on recoil to switch the barrel. If you pull the trigger bang the bt of the gun on the floor then pull the trigger again. It works defiantly but it has no recoil to set it. Nial
I've got an old Lanber that sometimes didn't fire the top (second) barrel and once fired both at once (32g 6's, I nearly dropped the gun). The top lever also wasn't staying open most times the gun was broken. A clean and service got it all sorted for £60 odd, so all's not lost. Nial.
