djrwood
This Thursday 22nd April, our friends and family in the forces will be completing a march and receive medals for their recent tour of Afghanistan in Downham Market, (20 miles north of Cambridge). Lets show them support for everything they have done. Even if you disagree with the campaign, you cant disagree with how hard these men and women work, working 12 hour shifts without a single day off for the whole time they are away, rotating 21 days with 21 nights. The march begins at 17:50 and starts down near the train station and continues through the town finishing at the town hall. My Dad shall be one of the men taking part in the parade and is now stuck on his return trip from afghan thanks to the volcano ash. He has been stuck in cyprus since last thursday and is now making his way to spain, prior to having to hitch a ride to portsmouth on a navy boat. Please come and show your support and respect to these people. Many thanks Dan
Bloke
Wish I could come but can't. All the best to them all, all those who sit in judgement should be humbled by their sacrifice. I for one, wish to pass on my best wishes and thanks to them all.
