Lee Metford rifle converted to .410

Hi, I've got this Lee Metford rifle which has been bored out to .410 shotgun, serial number 748.

These rifles were in production briefly during the late 1800's, mine dates to 1896. They soon switched to Lee Enfield rifles.

It has a regimental mark on the stock band, some ominous notches cut into the brass and the date stamped on the receiver band.

Bore is very good, not perfect but only a tiny amount of pitting. There are some marks on the barrel but aside from that it's in very good nick for a 120 Year old gun! It takes 3" magnum cartridges no problem and shoots straight as a nail.

I've enclosed a photo of one, mine is the same but without a magazine and with a single shot plate fitted from new.

What's it worth?

Thanks.
