I once owned a 3 shot semi auto by Breda, it was about 15years ago, I never got on with it, it always played up, wouldn't or couldnt handle modern cartridges? was a pig to keep clean, heavy and well a nightmare, so I got rid. I've always stuck with conventional double barrel guns since and would urge anyone new to the sport to do the same, buy the best you can afford, I shoot a Beretta silver pigeon 5, 28inch MC game, and I love it. But thats a matter of choice. Good luck.

I have a Breda Astro of indeterminate age, which is on loan from a mate. Hasn't been out of the cabinet for 6 months and I put 100 carts through it yesterday on a sporting layout. It didn't miss a beat and I shot a mid 80's. Which is bloody good for me.

Can't fault it.

cheers,

It didn't miss a beat and I shot a mid 80's. Which is bloody good for me. Just seemed right in my hands, points well with no serious recoil. I was shooting 28g 71/2 shot Hull Sovereign fibres, which I normally find a bit thumpy

I normally shoot a Beretta SP3 limited edition sporter.

cheers,
