king ratcatcher
ive been baiting these rats for about 4 nights now,so i decided to shoot them tonight,i got the lamp out and shone it around the garden, nothing about,so i gave it 30 minutes,so i got the lamp back out and shone it at my bait station,i saw 2 sparkling eyes about 5 yards from the bait.brilliant i thought,so i went upstairs and got me dads falcon fn12,went outside and sat down, nothing was about for and hour or two, then out of the blue ratty came straight out and walked wright upto the bait station,so i swang round slowly and pictured hes 2 big eyes through the scope, aimed bang in between hes eyes, but some how he moved and the pellet hit him straight in the side,it was the most instant kill ive seen, using daystate ft .22,the distance was around 15 yards.i had put out a tin of sweetcorn for bait. the first time ive shot with the lamp in bad fog, works quite well. heres some piccies...... http://img173.imageshack.us/img173/9340/ra...rattyonshov.jpg http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/7121/rattingfog55us.jpg http://img317.imageshack.us/img317/521/rattingfog22mj.jpg
