yankeedoodlepigeon
Hi all. I just bought a Rizzini e second hand shotgun. As its a bit late to go out I put some snap caps in to find out what fired first on what setting top or bottom. I fired once and opened the gun to see what barrell had fired. Happy with knowing what was what I put the snap cap back in again and tried firing twice with no luck. after many attempts opening and closing I found it would only fire the second shot if I flicked the switch. fired the top(or bottom) flick the switch and then fire the other. My question, is this normal or does it need to have live rounds in to work? Thanks Leanne
roadkill
it needs live rounds in to work as i believe its the recoil what triggers the other side to work , so dont worry the gun is fine

MM
It works on inertia, so dont drop the bloody thing what ever you do.
DaveK
with the snap caps in, fire the first barrel, knock the butt on the floor and then shoot off the second barrel.
