shooter 1 Posted November 29, 2005 Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 hi to you all, i'm just wondering if any of you use d and j Cartridges and find that they missfire alot? i'm asking this question because i am and i find i get 1 or 2 missfires perbox but i went out the other day and went through 150 shots with rotwiller and didnt have 1 missfire and im wondering if its my gun or the Cartridges. please could you let me know your help is greatley reconised thatnk you. Big Dog Posted November 30, 2005 Report Share Posted November 30, 2005 Sounds like you may have answered your own question! Try other shells! that will tell you if it is the gun or the shell. big simmo999 Posted December 4, 2005 Report Share Posted December 4, 2005 I have had this problem with Eley's. It is more apparent in Browning, Winchester and Miroku guns. It only happened on the bottom barrel on mine (a winchester) but it happenend quite a lot. It is something to do with the length and angle of the firing pin. My mate shoots a Beretta and his never misfired. I've now switched to Victory's and have no problems - much cheaper than getting another firing pin!
