MJN
Instead of being ripped off by the local stealer , where should I look for the best deal on a freelander 2 M.
BaconBoy
probably your best place to find any freelander would be in a workshop or a breakers yard

I found mine through Autotrader at a 4 x 4 independant dealer.....that was 30,000 trouble free miles ago. Good luck but they hold there value really well now and 'aint cheap. I presume you have looked on Autotrader for any private sales, otherwise I would agree about the independant dealers are probably your best bet. MJN
it seems the FL2 is very popular at the moment and not much in the way of discounts around and s/h prices are high, oh well, looks like the local dealership will get another visit. M. p.s. if you haven't tried the FL2 you won't know the amazing difference between that and the FL (1) two different cars IMO. M.

M. They are very good cars now, and account for a huge ammount of 4x 4 sales, unfortunately their prices are borderline stupid at the moment unless you are selling, not buying. Have a look out for the GS spec' perhaps?, you don't get half leather or sat nav', (which apparently isn't brilliant apart from looking the part), but there isn't much else different apart from elec' seats which you only adjust once anyhow, at least it'll raise your chances of finding one within budget Good luck, if you find one that's been anything like mine you'll be very happy. MJN
The Dealers are now coming back with some discounts in the LR finance package, as per LR dealers websites. OTH wants Sat Nav, she says the garmin sitting on the dash wouldn't look right. I'm looking at low mileage s/h ones on Saturday . M.
