Diceman
OK, the time has come. Once again today I lost our little club shoot by missing a few silly clays. I can hit 'em all, but I can't hit 'em all consistently enough to build a decent score. So I need someone to sort out my bad habits and tidy up my shooting. Any recommendations in the Milton Keynes / Buckingham area?
Mungler
Do you choke change and mess about with different cartridges and or have an adjustable stock etc.? Just interested.

Only change chokes if I want to humiliate myself on a bit of skeet. Other than that its 1/4 & 1/2 all the way. Cartridges - I shoot whats in my pocket, today it was a mix of Claybusters (mmm smokey) Lyvale Sporting and Eley First as I was having a clearout, but mostly stick to 7.5 Firsts. I'm not good enough to blame the cartridge tbh, been averaging 75-80% for years. Adjustable stock - no sir. I spent a lot of time picking a gun that fits just right (I think) and have been shooting that since I started 4 years ago.
Salopian
Try Sporting Targets at Riseley their chief coach Tony Fletcher (Fletch) is from MK area he will sort you out. Also Ed Solomons and other very good shots loiter around there. Advise is always available and freely given.

I read Ed's posts on another forum and he seems a decent chap so will see if I can stalk him long enough to pick up some of his talent... COACH
And leave the Clay Busters alone, there`s far too much recoil so you will suffer on pairs or birds on report, because you can`t get on to the second bird fast enough or accurate enough. They`re #### :(

They are a bit ####, but I bought 1000 3 years ago 'cos they were cheap and I didn't know any better. Have got about 2 boxes left, will save them for the mixy rabbits.
