I need to remove the center console from my shogun to get to the back of the cigarette lighters, My last one has packed up and now need to put a couple of new ones in. It is not apparent where it is fixed, I notice two screws in the flip up sotrage compartment which may need to be removed, that is unless someone knows how it comes out. Is it a snap in jobby? activeviii Posted June 17, 2010 Report Share Posted June 17, 2010 on the back of the console there is a couple of screw as well, in the rear passenger area. there is 6 in total holding it all in place, i think,hehe. long while since i did mine. if your replacing the cigar plugs then i would recommend upgrading the wiring as its very thin and gets very hot with a lightforce lamp plugged in. wire from battery and add an in line fuse. i have 3 points in mine. i put one in boot area as well. go to the pajero of shogun owners forum as there's loads of info on there.
