Either splash out on a lesson or get someone who knows what they are talking about to go clay shooting with you and stand behind you when you shoot. It's easy to tell you what you should be doing but unless someone can see where you're at right now, it's difficult to apply that to your shooting. Edited June 25, 2010 by Vipa
COACH
Try this it works a treat. Always come from just behind the bird and pull through smoothly but not at too much pace if you can avoid it. You will have to block the bird/clay out with your barrels but don't let it bother you at all. When you think or know the bird is behind the barrels and about to go behind the end of the forend, pull the trigger and keep the gun moving on the flight line as you pull the trigger. Do not stop the gun. SMOKED.

I usually use maintained lead for most shots but it wasn't working out on these clays. All I needed was someone to notice and correct me and now they're not my bogey bird anymore
