Minature Fox Caller.

Seen a few posts on here recently inquiring about E-Callers, & Calls etc, so I thought I'd give the budding Fox Enthusiasts on here the heads up, on a little MP3 Player I've acquired recently.

It's only £15 with free delivery, aprox 2" in dia, & will hang around your neck without you knowing about it.

I've had it a couple of weeks now, & I'm fairly impressed with it.

Haven't tried it in the field yet, but having had E-Callers for aprox 4-5yr now, I know it will be OK. :lol:

Added bonus,(apart from the price tag + it doubles as a Speaker) is, you can load your calls onto the Micro SD with a card reader, none are preloaded on the MP3 Player, like some :good:

Here's the Spec;

The Hamburger MP3 Player is the smallest MP3 Player that pumps out the biggest sounds! It's not much bigger than a golf ball - so a truly pocket sized device! Using a revolutionary accordion style build, this little MP3 Player opens up to create a speaker chamber that produces resonant sound with amazing bass and clarity for an MP3 Player of its tiny size and price. It really needs to be heard to be believed!

Ingeniously it has a Micro SD card slot on the side and is compatible with a Micro SD memory cards up to 16GB. WOW! Its superb design is also powered by internal re-chargeable batteries that will keep belting out tunes for up to 4-6 hours…perfect for those days on the beach or for your travels on holiday.

When you've had enough sound, simply push together and click shut to secure in one neat capsule, pocket-sized and ready to go anywhere you are. This Hamburger MP3 Player projects fantastic sound in all directions and not only works independently with a Micro SD card, it also works with any audio source with a 3.5mm headphone jack!

Features:

* Portable mini speaker

* Micro SD card slot (Up to 16GB)

* 3.5mm audio jack

* USB power input

* Internal lithium battery

* High fidelity loudspeaker

* Big bass

The Micro SD Card in the Photo's is only a 128mb, more than enough to hold 20 plus calls.

All you need now is the Fox Calls to go with it... :oops: ......over the years I've collected well over a 100-150 calls, some work, some don't,

You will find out that you'll balance out with half a dozen that do, so hence the need for only a 128mb card.

Very interesting and helpfull post mate, thanks. I have been "playing about" trying to get a caller system together but have ended up buying a Cass Creek Predator Caller with remote! I haven't had a chance to try it yet but hope to this evening if this darned rain holds off long enough. Mine has 5 calls on it but I can't see a couple of them being much use to me (Coyote and Pup Yipping), and the biggest drawback of all is that you can not load your own calls on to it which is a shame as I have already been very kindly sent a few really interesting sounding calls in MP3 format.

I would be very interested in knowing how your system performed out in the field once you have had time to try it, maybe you could PM me with your thoughts and a bit of a "review".

Hi FB, it'll work OK in the field, I can load the same calls that I have on my other caller. The volume on the Hamburger is not as loud, but there again you don't need it to be that loud, Fox's ears are a lot better than ours. TBH that's how a lot of E-calling fails.

More to the point is what CALL you have...if you don't have what there after/interested.., you my as well play Elvis.....they don't work all the time.

This time of year the E-callers work well, especially with the cubs,.... later on, Nov-Dec the E-caller will die off, they are just not interested (mating), but sometimes you can draw them into range with the Vixen/Dog Call.

This is just another tool in the arsenal so to speak, a cheap version that will suit people who don't want to spend loads on the likes of FoxPro/Minaska/ Johnny Stewart..ETC...Light to carry, easily kept in the pocket, & easy to use.

I will say that the instructions that come with it are a bit vague though. :good:
