Boristhedog
Hi, wise and sage like people. I need to top up the engine oil but the hand book doesn't give the type to use. Tried Halfords but their 'book' was blank. I'll ring the main dealer in the morning but thought I'd ask on the forum in case anyone had an idea. The car is a January 2010, Renault Megane Hatchback, 1.9 diesel (130bhp). Thanks.

J@mes
As it is brand new I expect the dealer will top it up for you. we have just got a brand new Audi A3 and they have said to bring it back any time in the first year for oil top ups as the engine wears in! Boristhedog
It's 5w-40. I took your advice and the dealer topped it up and gave me a litre of the stuff in case I needed it in the future. Thanks.
