Yes,

 

but don't blame gun fit for poor results when its technique that's at fault.

 

A perfectly fitting gun used by a shooter with poor technique will give poor results.

 

A mediocre gun fit on a person with a thorough understanding of shooting will still give reasonable results.

 

Don't spend fortunes on gun fit unless your technique is good.

 

Any decent instructor will deal with the basics of gun fit, stock length and comb height and will set you up with good stance and mount, and then get your technique established.
