kent
Prior to the advent of the HMR i used to zero at 50 yds with the .22 and dial in further range corrections, the HMR totally vanquished that requirement so i just left it fixed at 50 yds. Then along came the FAC .22 air rifle and i increased my zero another 10 yds on the LR as the rapid was just great to 50yds and zeroed up at 47 yds, however it did push my peak trajectory up some on the LR and i started to get an odd miss over the top. Slightly embarasing as they were the easy ones were i failed to hold low enough . So i am right back were i started now with a 50 yds zero and a flater curve, you just can't beat keeping it simple . Graham M
Oh I just keep on saying this, but the number of shooters who insist on zeroing their rifle at 100yds (and then miss a 50yd rabbit by 4 inches over the top) still makes me smile. G.M.
