the_commoner
went out foxing with sparkie last night on one of our permissions, i very nearly didnt go because i hadnt got in from work until late but decided stuff it, got picked up at 8.45pm ish and headed the couple of hundred yards from my house to the permission we decided to have a go at. We pulled up the track and saw a guy walking across the field with a spaniel, both of us thought it was another local farmer but it wasn't. Wound down the window said hi and exchanged pleasantries, only turns out that he is the son of the farmer we were shooting for and farms himself, bit of a chat etc etc etc etc and a couple of hundred acres more bagged, got to see him in the next few days to sort out maps. moral of the story get out there and shoot, you never know who you might bump into
