Well I`ve just come back from holiday in northern France ,where we visited the county annual Chasse fete ( country sports fair). Low and behold was a guy selling his "Contraptions" for shooting pigeons. These consisted of a "LIVE" Woodie tethered to a battery opperated roller, on a long arm not unlike our magnet/ floater. when the battery connection was operated, the roller started spinning and the Live woodie flapped to keep its balance on the cylinder !!

I`ve got some video on my phone but i`m too thick to put it on the site... help please.?

You can check his site out at palombe-mecanique.com

has anyone else seen these crazy inven :good: tions?

It's illegal to use a magnet in France but the use of live tethered birds is OK...go figure!

Mind you I wouldn't mess with the French when they've a beef on, blockades, burning piles of dead animals, road blocks, piles of **** outside their parliament building...they do know how to get a point across.
