Big Angus Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 Once again the Bundrowes river has produced the first fish of the season. A lovely fresh run fish of 10lbs. Best of all the fish was caught by an angler from the North. He returned the fish and was awarded 1000 euros to donate to any charity of his choice. He also picked up a prize of 500 euros to spend in any tackle shop in ireland. The second fish of the season was caught by my friend Bernard McCullough from Ballymena. Just shows that you stay off the raz at the new year you are in with a chance of a life time, of catching the first fish of the season.
