Hi,

I am considering going on a course done by the National Ferret School which is run by the well known ferreter James McKay who writes in Sporting Shooter and Shooting Times. I was wondering has anybody been on a course or know somebody who has and if so was it worth the money and informative to a complete novice with nothing but (currently) pet Ferrets?:rolleyes:

Thanks in advance for any and all replies. :D

FM ;)

Ferret Master, save your money, people on here will give you plenty of good advice, as for pet ferts, as far as i am concerned, iv found all ferts are natural hunters take em to a burrow and watch em go! ;) maybe a good idea to invest in a locator first though... :D

Hi,

After the advice that I have recieved I was wondering is there anybody on here prepared to take me and my 3 jills out and show me the basics because it is a rather daunting prospect having to teach myself.

If anybody would be kind enough that is in my area of the country (I am prepared to travel a bit) to take me and my ferrets out then please contact me via PM.

Thank-you.

No need to go to school to learn ferreting youngling

Its not the hardest thing in the world to do, be patient and quiet, hopefully some kind soul will take you out and show you the ropes.

Good luck in your new quest and may the bunnies be plentifull.

Maybe you should come over to hampshire where the real action is.
