kent
Need to take action before the behavour becomes embedded. sounds a bit like it is already come down on it Winging = instant correction and no quarter given get right ontop of it you might need to "set the dog up" in the car as getting the timing spot on is hard whe your driving and dog is in back by the time you correct the dog doesn't understand for what

fortune82
My cocker used to go mental when he saw the lead, jumping and whinning and squeeking. I used to just put him back in the kennel as soon as it started and then go back out 15 minutes later. Took about 5 goes on the first night and a few every night for a week. He doesnt do it now though!

Whats this about couple of nights off thats gonna help lock in the behavour, don't do it
