Scragrat
I'm going through the forms to apply for my FAC. On the reference form there are 2 questions for the referee's to complete- What do you know of the applicants experience with firearms? And- What do you know of the applicants attitude towards firearms? What would be acceptable replies to these questions? Both my referee's know me well and know that I am a keen shotgun and air rifle shooter but neither shoot themselves although one is ex military. Any advice much appreciated. apache
They just need to answer them as honestly and fully as possible. Basically they are asking about your mental stability and suitability for having firearms.

There's an advice sheet attatched to the referee forms, you cannot just answer "No" or "None" to the questions. The answer must be along the lines of, " I have known Joe Bloggs for 10 years and during that time I have had no knowledge of any of the above problems, he has a very stable family life ect"
stubby
they could answer, along the lines off mr xxxx has a very safe attitude towards firearms, having been a shotgun shooter for xxx amount of years, he always checks backstops before taking a shot mr xxx has always shown respect when shooting, both to others and those around him
