Hi all,

was wondering if anybody knew anything about this club?

As far as i'm aware its chester/wirral based and shoots at sealand ranges.

i am trying to find a contact for the club without any luck!

the guys at north wales shooting school say the guy who runs it is called martin but they are not sure where he is based so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yeh found that but no contact details just an email which ive tried an received no reply!

Thought this would be a good club to join to help get my foot in the fac door!

As my permissions are quite small so until I can get bigger ones I will still be able to progress with my app.

I might just rejoin valley arms but its a bit of a drive that why I was looking at this club.

Cheers steve

Dear Steve,

I am a member of Phoenix and I've checked with the secretary Mary, who has had no unanswered from either the website "contact us" page at http://psa.bizhosting.com/contact.html or via the PhoenixShooters(AT)Yahoo.co.uk e-mail address - perhaps you could try again?

I'm afraid the membership is full just at the moment, (not a bad thing - PSA has reached it's full capacity due to the popularity of the shooting sports!) but please contact us by either means and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Just because our membership lists are full doesn't mean that you can't come along as a guest and see what we do - but we have to limit things due to the requirement for a competency certificate issued by the NRA for anyone who wants to shoot without personal 1-1 supervision. This means that as a probationary member you CAN shoot, but only whilst under 1-1 supervision.

Please contact us again and we'll do our level best to help.

All the best!

Mike

you could always try grange pistol and rifle club? its based in west kirby.

http://www.grangeshooting.co.uk/ ( (0151) 625 8347)

or

Warrington & District Rifle & Pistol Club at

http://www.warrington-rifles.8m.com/ 01925 262457 if you're on that side of Chester.

Both are are really excellent clubs - I wouldn't recoomend them otherwise!

At Grange you will need a letter of authority

If you do not have a letter of authority you will not be allowed in to the club's premises, this is the law.

(In fact, it's NOT the law, but a club rule.)
