Lightforce through roof remote handle

Evening all, just bougt a Lightforce remote handle, it's going through the roof of my Landy, As the front of the landy roof slopes, do i need a packing wedge or is there enoug articlulation in the unit?.

 

Any advice?

Plenty of articulation Keg. The lamp attaches to the handle with a bolt which can be loosened to raise/lower the lamp.

Thanks Browning, i was just concerened that the slope of the roof on the landy meant that the lamp was pointing too far down even at maimum articulation. I have a hand held 170 striker that i will attach.

In my defender I have put the handle coming through where the interior light used to be and wired it up to the old interior light wires. It look very neat and if you want to take it back out you can just replace the interior light and stick a patch on the roof.

Thanks Lucky, is there enough movemnet in the ball joint or did yoiu have to use packing?

Plenty movement with the headlining still in just touches the sides of the interior light hole and the handle just sticks out about 10"

Brilliant news, although i do like my interior light, so im unsure what to do, maybe move the light back a bit...

Could do but sort of defeats the object. I replaced the light with the t bar sa it looked like it was suppose to be there and not just stuck in the middle of the headlining.
