remmy1100
well after all the rain had gone decided to go out for bit lamping on the quad as usually very productive after good spell of rain,on arrival at the land first two fields were not very productive just couple of bunnies set off to next fields down track picked up couple more bunnies on way .unusually stubble fields had nothing on as i always get few on these. then as i approach last field at end of track I see why...... two blokes in a 4x4 coming back out gate which ive just blocked.field has just been recently sown and i knew they didnt have permission to be in field let alone driving around it quick look confirmed the churned up mess they had caused .they said they had permission from farmer which they produced but the land they were on wasnt his which i informed them said they were shooting rabbits but air rifle they had on back seat was cased still two lurchers also filled the boot......I knew what this pair were after which was the local deer population...on reminding them of fact they were commiting armed trespass and directing them with a few words they were off into the night.totally screwed up my session of lamping they had obviously done all the fields.caught up with them later on unknown to them lamping fields from main road they also didnt have permission on .registration passed to farmer hes going to speak to farmer who has giving them permission and no doubt put him straight .anyway ended up with 10 rabbits for my disasterous session out
Billy.
That's a real killer... Not only does it put you off becuase of a lack of bunnies, but you're constantly on the lookout for them again and it can put you on edge. Also, knowing they're around, puts you in a dire situation if they got hit by a ricochet if they're behind a hedge or something. It'll be you who pays the price... remmy1100
yeah billy but its the farmers crop getting wrecked by these people and even if they did have permission off him( which they didnt ) driving around freshly sown field when its been raining for days churning it up just would jeopodise all shooting on his land

remmy1100
phoned farmer he said hed deal with it had address off there permission and reg number ,they have permission for land from local farmer and map of his bounderies with them and clearly knew they wernt allowed on this land they were on.farmer says police are useless and he has too much too loose dealing with these people himself.he is very good friend with this other farmer and i doubt they will still now have any permission on his land.
