Rotorcoy 3-in-1 flapper

As title says, do any of you guys in PW world own/use or have seen one of these Rotorcoy 3-in-1 flappers in action in the field? Are they any good for the money? Have been thinking about getting one as an alternative to the magnet, as I am getting pretty hacked off lugging it around only for it to scare birds off, or just not using it at all!!

Any hints, tips and opinions would be appreciated before I part with my hard earned cash :hmm:

Cheers

hi , i have just got two of the flappers but have not had a chance to use them yet :good: . the build quality is very good and they look robust but time will tell. like yourself i am having problems with the rotary :D so i have high expectations riding on these. i do think they are pricey but they only weigh onces and are much easier to carry :sly: . i will let you know how i get on with them as soon as i get in to the field. regards kevin

my mate got one months ago, within weeks one wing wire had gone and he had to buy a replacement, all the times he's used it, Ive never witnessed it bringing anymore pigeons in, don't think it gets noticed that much,

if anything, Id save your money and buy 4 of these, look far better value for money

the rotocoy`s work well i have 2 roto peck flap & 3 peck flap all at gound level & they work extremely well

we normally set up a hide on each side of the big fields & i have watched pigeons fly towards the old mans magnet then turn & head towards my decoy pattern set there wings & drop straight in!

you only need to buy 1 rotocoy then just make a jig & knock some up yourself!! maplins for the motors!

the magic mounts are very very expensive for what they are but they do work!! these can also be made!

Hi Terry, I might well have to take you up on your very kind offer :good: It's about time we got together again for a bang up on the piddies. I will let you know when I am free, as the shooting season will be kicking off in a couple of weeks on the farm so piddie days are going to be quite restricted.....beating most Saturdays and shooting on Sundays might not go down too well with she who must be obeyed

Hello Paul

I await your call.

If you like we could concoct a story so that Vickie will let you out to look after me because I am unhappy/need a rest, or anything else that might sound convincing

Cheers

Terry
