kacy Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 Hi can anybody give me some advice on a winchester select sport Iam new to the sport , is this a good gun ,it has 30" barrels and i want it as an alround gun. COACH Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 They are not very popular I`m afraid as they are a bit ugly and a few have broken when new. They don`t handle that well either. Find out why he wants to get rid of it. If you have your Heart set on a Winchester then buy one built in the 80s as they were some of the best guns EVER built and you can get quite a nice one for £700. How ever, you can also get a nearly new Lanber Sporter for that as well, they are the best guns on the market in that price range Or you can pick up a second hand quite tidy Beretta/Browning /Miroku for £700 as well.
