harv
Real or fake- what sort of numpty fires a round with a Bore Sighter stuck in the barrel- should these sort of people be in charge of firearms?? I think not Les :look: I think its American Lez,apparently he's got a drivers license so he's allowed! I wonder if the boresighter hit the target, I reckon he didn't quite grasp the instructions correctly?

humperdingle
News flash.........clamping a rifle barrel in a vice mid way down causes it split split! crikey. lol IIRC these guns were intentionally plugged to show the effects and relative strengths of different firearms. The barrels aren't clamped, as you can see the gun move back pretty freely.

humperdingle
'The barrels aren't clamped'..........you sure now? Pretty sure. At 15 seconds, the barrel moves quite freely on the front stand as the trigger is pulled and the gun recoils freely. Edit: In fact, at 55 seconds, the Mannlicher is almost pulled all the way back. So yeh... Not clamped. Edited October 8, 2010 by humperdingle

The conflict is arising from someone who wont believe a video on youtube and that it has to be staged because of a programme he watched on TV ???
