A few pics of my dog when ferreting

Cheers lads, he was originally my gundog trained to flush out and retrieve on rough shooting but I give it up so thought I would take him along with me when ferreting ;) well he took to it like a fish to water, he loves marking, he loves pouncing on the bunnies as they hit the net (he hasn't mastered the longnet yet OOPS) he has also accounted for quite a few dozen rabbits that we have walked past that have been inside dry stone walls he just stops and wimpers and scratches until we go and take a look, 99.9% of the time there's something sat there hiding so it's just a reach in for a bonus bunny, It's funny watching him aswell if one rolls the net as he's off after it like a lurcher but sadly he never catches them haha, he has caught a few mixie rabbits though.

Had him out on the lamp a few weeks ago for the very first time which I think might of been a bit too much for him as he couldn't figure out what was going on and he didn't know whether to mark sets or run about the long grass. he did however catch one that was wounded and retrieved it but wanted to carry it himself all the way round the golf course, won't give up on him yet as i'm sure he will sniff out any rabbits that can't be found when lamped in the longish grass
