hunter1968
I am looking to buy a hunting jacket. I its have no idea which one. It must be a hard wearing breathable jacket, yet washable. Not a heavy weight ,yet not a summer shirt. I looked at seelander, musto, & various tweeds. I do not want a cammo pattern, green will do the job perfect. What do you use ? & What do you find the best Value, & hard wearing? Thank you all.

I bought a Dickies green shooting jacket for £40 from the local farm shop - i'ts been used every day for 3 years for shooting, beating and dog walking, keeps me warm when i need it do and always dry, and goes in the washing machine. Still looks like new. I've got Musto, Seeland, and Jack Pyke jackets as well, but this is the one i go for first everytime. AB
WGD
Harkila Pro Hunter is a brilliant jacket, pricey but you get what you pay for. Can be worn on a driven day or lamping foxes, does it all for me.
