soreshoulder Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 i have a beretta 686 silver perdiz that is in excellent condition however i am soon to be taking it to a gun shop to see what they would give me for it on a 28 bore that is worth around £600. (i cant be dealing with selling it privatley after recent events ) How much should i be looking for from the gunshop, a straight swap?, i will take some piccies if that would help Probably worth more private my mate was offered 600 for his silver pig against a new 525 browning and 450 against a new lanber so its swings and roundabouts I sold the gun for him for 725 cash after one time up the local club.I can imagine they will want your gun for around 4-500 against a 600 quid one. jonesbach Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 id sell it privately if you can wait a little, somebody will give you the £600 that your desired gun is worth so it will be like a straight swap..something the gun shop wont offer you. stick up some picks in the gun for sale section and see whether you get any interest at a price you'd like. £600 for a silver pig in good nick is a bargain!
