Axe
Knowing the amount of current you get from a panel i would think this is unrealistic. Do you have alink for something that can do the job?

Axe
Mark, and as far as im aware, cost effective solar panels available to you and me do not provide the sort of current required to run the motor. In other words, you would need to cover a large area or spend a massive amount of money. Either way, be it cheap or expensive panels, I would think that it is not a practical solution. Placing enough panels in the field would surely defeat the purpose of having deaks in the first place. However, i'll give RS a ring and find out what they have to offer.
