Bing-Bong
Would you believe that on two occasions that we know of the herberts are using the River Waveney to gain access to flight ponds on a couple of farms where I live. They are using a small boat, silenced rifles and a labrador, mooring up on the bank and shooting the duck by moonlight as they roost on the water. The two camo'd wonders are operating between Burgh St. Peter and Beccles and possibly as far up as Bungay. I believe the next worthwhile moon phases are mid month and the plan is that once we know the ******** are about we will launch my boat ( it will do 30 knots) and hopefully catch them before they unload. We believe that they are unloading in Beccles. If by some chance we catch them out of their boat then a lump of concrete will be not so delicately placed in the hull of their dinghy and the land forces will apprehend. A heads up to any of you who have wildfowl on the Waveney marshes. And a big heads up if you are the culprits (highly unlikely I might add) and are reading this. We are on to you. I hope you get these guys as there is no space in the shooting community for guys like this giving the sport bad publicity.
