leeds chimp
Been told about this place by a gent at work saying it good fishing for bream, roach and pike. Had a trawl on the net and not much about it at all.... Can the wisdom of PW shed any more light on it Cheers
CharliePigeon
Alrite Leeds ive Pike fished Rockland several times , not for last 5yrs though , was always good water to fish , you need a boat to access, if you go along dyke through broad to cut entrance to river Yare theres a deep hole just before entrance/exit in winter full of silver fish and the Pike are always there abouts, hope its helpful , cheers & tight lines. reddan
Its rated for pike. We have had a few deadbaiting in a boat and using a spinner further down the dyke from the bank. Ths was a few years ago though. Dan

charliebrown
where abouts are you going as the broads is a big place?? Havnt planned it yet, have just decided with a mate to do it early Feb time. Was thinking somewhere close to the Thurne or Hickling mere/broad. Any suggestions? Was on Rutland water Saterday and Sunday , no Pike but switched to the Zander late on both days and bagged up, I had 6 on the first day and double that on the second, nothing big but good fun all the same. That place is absolutly stuffed with them. Edited November 22, 2010 by charliebrown
