Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how you get the magazine tube off a beretta extrema? Does it screw in or is it a press fit? the plunger in mine has gone all sticky and doesn't move freely and I wat to clean it out.

I tried taking the end cap off and the spring out but because the tube is crimped to restrict it the plunger won't come out.

Cheers

Its screwed and glued in Martin, I had mine (Extrema 2) out recently when I upgraded it to FAC.

You will need to heat it up at the thread and be very careful until you 'crack' the glue. It's a tight sod but once

the glue has cracked it will come off OK.

if its the same as the U2 then i have one mine loads of times. if you look at the threaded part that the nut sits on, you will see that where the threaded part screws into the gold tube, that there is a little pin that you push in with a little screw driver as you twist. it unscrew but be carefull as the spring will fly out. even with the crimp i can get the plunger past.
