Catamong
Was out decoying on some rape with garyb today, when we packed up and drove off we noticed a decent flock of birds (300-400) feeding on a nearby field of Winter Linseed. I've not known anybody grow Winter Linseed in our area before, but it certainly seems to attract the birds. Anybody else shooting many over Winter Linseed..?? Cat. Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Its a new one on me Cat I thought it was not a frost hardy plant myself. The only thing I remember is when our combine driver forgot to tip the last out of the tank it set like concrete in the tank . And also we closed the M4 when we burnt the heaps and the wind changed :o . I do a little bit of research. Cheers OTH

Alanl50
Yes they are on it near me they jump between the winter barley just coming through and the linseed one field backs onto the other so Im sorted I just sit in the hedge in between the two fields,IM getting them both ways lol but they are still after the late and poorly growing rape as well Alan
