hi all i use a wildcat preditor 8 on my.223 and just wanted to no if anyone has got the compact version and if it is any louder than the full length version? also how much there going for cheers

I have the compact on my 6.5x55. I think they're the same price. Noise difference is negligible especially on a .223

thanks mate im thinking of switching too save a bit of waight but dont want to switch to another make of mod cos i like how to can strip the wildcat down il have a ask about the local dealers

If you contact wildcat they'll sell you the rear section on it's own so you don't have to buy a whole new mod. Much cheaper and no issues with ticket slots ( the baffle stack is the same)

I'm going to do the same,the parts you need to change the full version down to a compact are about £60( I think). I have heard alot of people say that the compact is as quiet as the full version up until 243. You will have to get a new rear bush reamed to fit the barrel as it will obviously be higher up the barrel so dia will be differant.
